How to set the time and replace the battery in your Jay Strongwater clock:

Time Setting

Note: Your clock may come with a tiny plastic fork acting as a spacer to keep the crown at a pushed out position. This fork stops the clock from running thus conserving battery power. To activate the clock, pull out the fork before doing the time setting procedure as described below.

The time setting crown is located behind the bezel at the position of 3 o'clock. To set the time, push out the crown and turn it until the hands show the current time. Push crown back in the normal position to restart clock.

Battery Replacement

When the clock loses time or stops, the battery is due for replacement. The battery is accessible from the backside of the clock. Insert a screwdriver or a blade into the case notch at the side of the back cover and pry open the back cover. The battery is retained in position by a tiny metal plate. Move the plate counter-clockwise to remove battery.

Caring for your Jay Strongwater candlestick or votive:

NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED! Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Please be sure all packaging has been removed from candlestick or votive before lighting. Before every use, always trim wick to 1/4 inch, removing excess wick and debris.

When lit, keep candle on a level, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects. For the best results, do not burn candle for more than 5 hours.

Extinguish flame, always allowing wax and container to thoroughly cool before handling, as glass and metal may become very hot. Prevent damage to its holder by never burning candle in its entirety, discard candle with some wax remaining.

If any wax should drip onto its decorative holder, please place object in freezer for 15-20 minutes. Remove object from freezer and gently dislodge wax from surface, taking care not to scratch the finish.
